.La Palina has a very rich history dating back to the late 1800’s. It all commenced when Samuel Paley immigrated from Ukraine to Chicago to work as a lector in a cigar factory. In 1896 Samuel commenced his own cigar factory with a cigar store nearby. His cigar factory was very prosperous earning him the moniker ‘Mr Sam’ by his factory workers. In 1926 Samuel retired, but the La Palina designation was not forgotten. Today Samuel’s grandson has reinvented the La Palina brand in a huge, and prosperous way.

Wrapper:Ecuador Habano

The La Palina Red Label is hand-made in the Dominican Republic.  Utilizing a fine blend of aged Nicaraguan, and Dominican filler tobaccos the Red label delivers big bold flavors.  An oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper carefully holds the filler, and binder tobaccos closely together creating a masterpiece.  The Red Label starts off mild with a creamy body, then slowly progresses to a medium bodied smoke with notes of spice, charred wood, and pepper.  The La Palina Red label is a charming cigar that belongs in every cigar connoisseur’s humidor.
